In this occasion, I would like to tell you my experience. I do not know why, I or anyone around me often misunderstand me. as I misunderstood him or he misunderstood me, especially when I ordered food.
It happens every time I order food in a small restaurant. I went to the counter to order food, I said sir I order a kwetiaw beef teriyaki brought home. When I got home what I got was a black pepper kwetiaw. It does not matter because that's same price. But there are many stories as I go eat in the restaurant itself writing on the paper ordering plain capcay. When delivered what I got was seafood capcay. So even though I did not order it, I had to pay from the price of 10,000 for plain capcay to 20,000 seafood capcay.
It could have happened because I could not hear and understand clearly what he was talking about, because I was afraid, that he would have gotten annoyed, if I kept asking him to repeats what he said for quite a number of times. So, I just answered yes, though I did not know what he was talking about. Such misunderstandings would had happened due to the speed with which I speak and my little voice, but sometimes, even when I'm writing my own order of food on a piece of paper, misunderstanding itself usually still happened.
It really annoys me because my spending budget goes beyond what I scheduled for and I have to be responsible for the price. I eat, even though that's not what I order. It may well be very annoying and I do hope it does not happen again, ever. Although that is not possible, because misunderstanding always happens everywhere.
